What Your Students Will Learn

Concrete skills and outcomes, not vague promises. Here’s what students walk away with.

Spot Opportunities

Students learn to identify real problems and turn them into business ideas. They practise the skill of seeing what others miss—the starting point of every great entrepreneur.

Make Business Decisions

Working in teams, students allocate budgets, weigh trade-offs, and make decisions under pressure. They experience the reality that every business choice has consequences.

Pitch With Confidence

Every workshop ends with team presentations. Students learn to structure an argument, tell a compelling story, and present their ideas to a real entrepreneur—skills that serve them in every subject and career.

Work as a Team

The business challenge requires collaboration, delegation, and compromise. Students experience what it takes to bring out the best in each other under time pressure.

Understand Money

Revenue, costs, profit, pricing. Students engage with financial concepts through the challenge itself—making them real and relevant rather than abstract textbook topics.

Think Like an Entrepreneur

Above all, students leave with a shifted perspective. They begin to see themselves as people who can create, build, and solve problems—not just follow instructions.

How a School Visit Works

A structured, high-energy session designed to fit seamlessly into your school day.

1

A real entrepreneur visits your school

One of our experienced business founders arrives ready to share their journey—the highs, the lows, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. Students get to ask questions and hear what real business life is actually like, from someone who has lived it.

2

Students tackle a hands-on business challenge

Working in small teams, students are given a realistic business challenge. They brainstorm ideas, make decisions, allocate budgets, and develop creative solutions—just like a real startup team. The challenge is age-appropriate and tailored to the year group.

3

Teams present and get real feedback

The session wraps up with team presentations and direct feedback from the entrepreneur. Students experience what it’s like to pitch an idea and receive constructive input from a professional. Many teachers tell us it’s the most engaged they’ve seen their students all year.

What’s Included

Everything you need for a great day. We handle the preparation so you don’t have to.

Experienced Entrepreneur

A real business founder leads the session, sharing their story and guiding students through every activity. All our visiting entrepreneurs are DBS checked and experienced with young people.

Workshop Materials

Printed workbooks, team challenge briefs, and all resources needed for a professional, engaging session. Nothing for your school to prepare or print.

Certificates for Students

Every participant receives a PushPals certificate recognising their entrepreneurial effort. A tangible reminder of what they achieved and a motivator to keep going.

Teacher Support Pack

Follow-up activities, discussion prompts, and extension resources so teachers can continue the learning beyond the workshop day. Enterprise education that keeps giving.

Curriculum Alignment

Our workshops aren’t just inspirational—they’re educationally robust and aligned to what schools need.

Enterprise Education

Supports enterprise education provision across Key Stages 2, 3, and 4. Workshops develop the enterprise capabilities outlined in the National Curriculum, including financial literacy, creativity, and risk management.

Gatsby Benchmarks

Our visits contribute directly to Gatsby Benchmark 5 (encounters with employers and employees) and Benchmark 4 (linking curriculum learning to careers). Useful evidence for Ofsted and careers leader reporting.

PSHE & Life Skills

Workshops develop teamwork, communication, decision-making, and financial awareness—all core PSHE competencies. Students practise these skills in a real-world context, not through worksheets.

“We believe every student deserves exposure to entrepreneurship, regardless of background or school budget. Our visits are funded by the PushPals community so that cost is never a barrier. No upsell, no hidden fees. Just a great day for your students.”

What Teachers Are Saying

Feedback from schools that have hosted a PushPals visit.

“The students were completely engaged from start to finish. Several came up to me afterwards and said it was the best session they’d ever had. The entrepreneur was brilliant with them—relatable, honest, and really inspiring.”

Mrs S. Thompson

Head of Business Studies, Oakwood Academy

“We booked a half-day visit and the impact has been lasting. Students are still talking about their business ideas weeks later. The materials were professional, age-appropriate, and the follow-up pack has been genuinely useful.”

Mr D. Patel

Year 10 Coordinator, Greenfield High School

“I was sceptical about a free offer, but the quality was outstanding. The workshop was well-structured, the entrepreneur was relatable, and the students loved every minute. We’ve already rebooked for next term.”

Ms R. Clarke

Deputy Head, St. Mary’s College

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking.

Yes, completely. School visits are funded by the PushPals community. There is no cost to the school, no upsell during the session, and no hidden fees. We do it because we believe every student deserves access to enterprise education.
We run workshops for all ages from Key Stage 1 through Key Stage 4. The content, language, and challenge complexity are adapted to suit the year group. We work with your teachers to ensure the session is pitched at exactly the right level.
We offer half-day (approximately 2–2.5 hours) and full-day options. A half day works well for a single year group. A full day allows us to work with multiple groups or deliver a deeper, more immersive programme.
We can work with a single class (25–30 students) up to a full year group (150+). For larger groups, we may run multiple sessions or bring additional team members. Let us know your numbers and we’ll design the right format.
Very little. We need a suitable room (a hall or large classroom works well), a projector or screen, and tables for group work. We bring everything else—workbooks, materials, and certificates. A member of school staff should be present during the session.
Yes. Every visiting entrepreneur and team member holds a current enhanced DBS check. We also carry public liability insurance and have comprehensive safeguarding and risk assessment policies. Documentation is available upon request.
We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance to ensure availability, though we can sometimes accommodate shorter notice requests. Register your interest using the form below and we’ll work with your preferred dates.
Teachers receive a support pack with follow-up activities and discussion prompts to continue the learning. Students who want to go further can explore our Entrepreneurs Club (weekly online sessions) or our Skool Community (free, self-paced resources).
