What happens on the day

Three distinct phases designed to move students from listening to creating to presenting.

Entrepreneur sharing their journey with students

A real story from someone who has done it

The session opens with the entrepreneur sharing their journey honestly: the idea, the early mistakes, the breakthroughs, and what they wish they had known at the students' age. Students ask questions and hear what business life is actually like.

Relatable, honest stories from real founders
Open Q&A so students can ask anything
Tailored to the year group's experience level
Students working in teams on a business challenge

Hands-on, team-based, time-pressured

Students form teams and receive a challenge brief. They brainstorm product ideas, make decisions under pressure, allocate budgets, and develop a brand. Every team works with printed workbooks that guide them through each stage.

Printed workbooks and challenge briefs provided
Budget allocation, pricing, and branding decisions
Age-appropriate and adapted for each year group
Students presenting their business ideas

Every team presents. Every team gets feedback.

The session wraps with team presentations to the class. The entrepreneur gives direct, constructive feedback on each pitch. Students learn to structure an argument, tell a compelling story, and present with confidence.

Presentation skills developed through practice
Direct feedback from a professional
Certificates for every participant

Skills that go far beyond business

Every activity in the workshop develops transferable skills that students carry into exams, interviews, and life.

Spot Opportunities

Identify real problems and turn them into business ideas. See gaps where others see nothing.

Make Business Decisions

Allocate budgets, weigh trade-offs, and make decisions under pressure with real consequences.

Pitch With Confidence

Structure arguments, tell compelling stories, and present ideas to a room full of peers.

Work as a Team

Collaborate, delegate, compromise, and bring out the best in each other under time pressure.

Understand Money

Revenue, costs, profit, and pricing stop being abstract concepts and become tools they can use.

Think Like a Founder

Walk away seeing themselves as creators who can build things, solve problems, and shape their own path.

The students were completely engaged from start to finish. Several came up to me afterwards and said it was the best session they'd ever had. The entrepreneur was brilliant with them.
Mrs S. Thompson
Head of Business Studies, Oakwood Academy
We booked a half-day visit and the impact has been lasting. Students are still talking about their business ideas weeks later. The follow-up pack has been genuinely useful.
Mr D. Patel
Year 10 Coordinator, Greenfield High School
I was sceptical about a free offer, but the quality was outstanding. The workshop was well-structured, the entrepreneur was relatable, and the students loved every minute. We've already rebooked.
Ms R. Clarke
Deputy Head, St. Mary's College
